'09 Hot Flash Red (TM)
Explosive flavors and aromas dominated by the essence of cherries and dark berries give this semi-sweet red a complex and ever-changing personality. Flashes of intense acidity combined with a light tannic bitterness give way to a sweet seductive finish with hints of plums and stone fruit. Hot Flash Red is sweet but sharp, bold but demure, and unpredictably complex according to your mood.

…somehow you’ve captured the most elusive of esters, the fabled “paradis” that escapes at the instant of the grapes' crushing. This is as good as I have ever experienced…[I] can honestly say that this is by far and away the best Nebraska wine I have ever had the joy to drink, yet inhale.

'08 Chambourcin
Garnet colored with deep aromas of mixed berries, the 2008 vintage of our highly sought after dry red Chambourcin fills the mouth with a smooth, velvety texture and fruit flavors of dark berries. Aging six months in seasoned oak barrels gives the ’08 Chambourcin a light tannic finish, cleansing the palate but not overpowering the fine fruit flavors, and making it a very food friendly wine.
